Welcome to a different vision. Here you'll find people, places, and things I come in contact with, as well as some experimental photos done with toy and vintage cameras.

I've just added a page for my video projects. It's...um....evolving. Right now, there are some fun videos I've taken this year: A trip to the beach, a metal casting workshop, and a quick tutorial on how to make butter. I'm currently producing a short documentary about the Mid-Atlantic burlesque scene and as that progresses, I'll be posting more details. And when Artomatic is over, I'll post the video that's in the box as well.

I've been a little lax in updating the site, clearly. Artomatic is in full swing. This year, I have a video installation, with a peep show in a bright, glossy red box. It's pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. The dancer in the box is Bambi Galore, a local burlesque performer. She did an awesome job. I met her at a performance at the Palace of Wonders in NE, and knew she was the girl I wanted to put in the box.

In addition to getting ready for Artomatic, Spring was busy because I've gotten involved with producing a musical for the Fringe Festival. Jon Gann and I are working with a very talented group of people to put on a show about two boys who order a monkey out of the back of a comic book, back when you could do such things, and the havoc that causes. Posting on election day about the Day of the Dead? Really? Isn't that bad luck or something? Here are some photos of the altar I made for the Ofrenda show, organized by Art Outlet.

This past weekend, I went to Rehoboth Beach and took along the Colorpack III. She takes beautiful pictures, I must say, even though I think the Fuji film gives better sky. See the full set here

Wow, two updates in the same week! There are lots of new Christmas decoration photos here. Hope your Christmas was mellow and filled with good things. Mine was, even though I stayed home for the first time in a long time. Getting two days during the week to go out and take photos felt luxurious and I made the best of every minute.
